Envision Success provides support to those individuals who are struggling after leaving the military. Trained volunteers coach veterans struggling with concerns such as loneliness, isolation, employment, and mental wellness.
The Veterans’ Lounge is a great place to kick back with a soothing cup of coffee or tea and chat, play checkers, or read a book. Check out our murals celebrating veterans from World War II to today. You may see some familiar faces on the walls. Check out our game room for some old and new board games, including some of our favorites. Join us for some card games like we played on active duty like Bridge, Cribbage, and Pinochle.
Women can take their cup into the Women Warriors’ R & R Room to rest and relax, step away from the stressors of life, join a discussion, play an exciting game of Jenga, put together a puzzle, or learn a how to manage life’s stressors. Head to the one of our Computer stations to check your email, polish your resume, refresh some or learn new computer skills, or search the internet.
First Aid Room
The “Dispensary” or First Aid Room is ready to help veterans with health and wellness needs. Meet with a Registered Nurse or other medical provider who can help you with minor medical needs such as checking or monitoring your vital signs, answering medical questions about symptoms, treatment, managing chronic conditions, receive first aid care, or discuss whether to visit the doctor or urgent care center.
The Serenity Room
If you are feeling a little stressed head to the Serenity Room. This cozy, welcoming room is specifically for individuals needing to step out of the noise. The room is for anyone needing a quiet space to talk with another person surrounded by calming scents, soft lighting, and comfy seating. Professional and peer Counselors are generally available to talk when needed or by appointment.
Friday Family Fun Night
Most Fridays from 5:00 - 8:00 join us for Friday Family Fun Night as we break out a game or two. Everyone is welcome for some friendly competition or just plain fun. We have games for all ages. Stay tuned for our Tournament Series.
Teaching and Theraputic Garden
If you have a Green Thumb, want to learn to grow vegetables, or just enjoy getting you hands in the dirt head outside to the Teaching & Therapeutic Garden - Through a huge effort of many volunteers we built an awesome Teaching and Therapeutic Garden. The garden features raised gardens allowing access for individuals needing wheelchair access as well as those not able to kneel. It also incorporates sand and sawdust instead of soil, greatly reducing the need to pull weeds. We had a huge harvest our first two years and look forward to many more. Volunteers and donors are needed to sustain this program. Volunteers are rewarded with a share of the vegetables harvested.
